Aberdyfi is a small peaceful seaside village nestling on the north side of the Dyfi estuary. An extremely popular resort for many years, it has a beautiful harbour and sits within the Snowdonia National Park.

The area around Aberdyfi is littered with attractions. The Talyllyn Railway, which is the worlds first historical preserved railway which is situated in Tywyn. There are numerous historical sites within close driving distance in addition to spectacular mountain and valley scenery, including the peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges. Aberdyfi an ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers with so many beautiful places to visit.


Aberdyfi is an ideal holiday location if you love water sports. Everything from surfing, kite surfing, sail boarding, canoeing, boat trips and fishing. During the summer months there are many regattas and wonderful water events.
